The film will take viewers behind-the-scenes with the brilliant creators who brought RAkU to life. The choreographer, composer and dancers will relate how RAkU came to be and what this unique ballet means to them. It will feature the stunning performance and include scenes of the dancers working with the choreographer, and the Butoh and martial arts advisors. The film will also show Buddhist monks chanting at the San Francisco Zen Center, a source of inspiration for the composer.
